One other consideration for physics simulations is their unpredictablility. I
did an animation in LW of a football with our company logo mapped on it's side
which bounces a fewtimes and finally settles center screen with the logo
showing. Every time I showed the animation people wanted to know what physics
module I used but it was all keyframed. If I used physics - and I did at first -
I'd probably still be generating scene files trying to get my football to land
right side up,center screen.
John Lasseter's the man. I love his work.
